Quality and cost
Tokens meter developing — 9, 13 or 19 for 1K, 2K and 4K — and the exact pixels are yours to choose. Pre-made things are bought with money, never with tokens.
Two currencies, and they never cross. Tokens meter developing: every frame costs tokens according to its quality tier. Money buys pre-made things, like a model or a preset, which are simply yours afterwards.
Quality and cost →What a frame costs
| Quality | Tokens per frame |
|---|---|
| 1K | 9 |
| 2K | 13 |
| 4K | 19 |
The price is stated before you commit and is identical to what settles afterwards. A partially failed run charges for the frames that landed, not the frames you asked for.
Quality and size are different questions
Quality is what costs tokens. Size is where the frame is going, and you set it exactly: 1600×2000 for a product grid, 2048×2048 for a Shopify listing, or any dimensions your own site asks for. The house develops at the nearest tier above your size and fits down to your pixels, so a 1440×1800 frame never costs 4K money.
Plans
| Plan | Monthly | Tokens per month | Rollover |
|---|---|---|---|
| Studio | $49 | 1,300 | none |
| Editorial | $149 | 5,100 | up to 2 grants |
| Couture | $399 | 15,900 | up to 3 grants |
A monthly grant expires at the end of its period, up to the rollover cap. Top-up packs are bought separately at 250, 1,000 or 3,000 tokens and never expire, which is why they price above every plan's per-token rate. Plans stay the better deal; packs are the overflow.
Spending draws on whatever expires soonest, so this month's grant goes before a pack you bought in March. A pack you did not need is still there in June.
Tokens never buy a model
A model, a preset or anything else pre-made is a one-time purchase at a shown price. The payment is what grants it, not the click and not the return to the browser. If a payment does not complete, nothing is granted.
Every plan reaches the API
Calling the API is not a tier of its own. If you can sign in you can call it, and you can mint a key for your own systems on any plan. A frame developed from outside costs what the same frame costs in the studio. What a plan buys is tokens and rollover.

The Darkroom
Everything developing at once — concurrent runs that survive a refresh, can be stopped and duplicated, with progress pushed to you rather than polled.
The API
The house is callable from outside the studio — an HTTP API described in OpenAPI, an organization key your own systems hold, and an MCP server so an agent can commission work directly. Outbound webhooks are designed and not yet built.
